Wa Lolita of the Lolita series. Only traditional one though (though now I want to re-do the others traditionally).
's Trix. : )
I started colouring this ages ago, but I suppose I got a bit worried about the colour choices so I sorta lost nerve to finish it. But~ a few days ago I was flipping through my bristol paper and my older sister saw it and told me I should do the rest. I got so into it I pretty much coloured the rest + did the bg the same day. Which is rare for me since I take ages to finish anything.
Haven't done traditional work in awhile, so I'm glad I didn't completely screw it up. |D
Materials Prismacolor colour pencils oil pastel white acrylic black gouache bristol paper
A MILLION YEARS LATER: I understand that a majority of wa-lolita outfits wouldn't use this kind of colouring/print, haha. And her skirt should have MUCH more of a bell shape, as well as being longer (to the kneeeeeees plz) I've learned since then.

I love the bright colors and how nicely they flow into each other. Adorable pose, and great use of media. It makes me want to break out my watercolors and paint something. >:3

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
